Send the Child to Equipped School

Send a Child to an Equipped School is an AODI education initiative focused on improving the quality of learning environments in underserved schools by providing essential educational resources, learning materials, and infrastructure support.

The initiative recognises that access to education goes beyond getting children into classrooms. For children to learn effectively, schools need the basic tools, facilities, and resources required to support teaching and learning. Many schools, particularly those serving underserved communities, operate with significant gaps in educational materials, classroom resources, technology, and other essential learning infrastructure.

Through the initiative, AODI works to identify schools with critical resource gaps and mobilise support to equip them with the tools they need to provide a more effective and engaging learning experience. This may include educational materials, books, STEM resources, digital and technology equipment, classroom supplies, and other school-specific needs.

By investing in schools rather than supporting individual students alone, the initiative seeks to create a broader and more sustainable impact - equipping learning environments that can benefit many children over time.
